James Morrison has been cutting hair for over 45 years. In his vast career, his little pair of scissors has taken him to almost every corner of the globe. As a kid growing up in Glasgow, Scotland, James knew that hairdressing would change his life. After beginning his career at age 15 and joining the iconic team at TONI&GUY in London at age 19, he began his work as a platform artist and educator. At 24 years old, he jumped on the opportunity to join co-founder, Bruno Mascolo, in Texas to launch their hairdressing empire: James moved to America in 1984 as cofounder of TIGI USA / TONI&GUY. With hair salons, schools and the product manufacturing arm called TIGI Linea, James was instrumental in laying the groundwork for the TONI&GUY culture in America.
