Kathy Buckley: If You Could Hear What I See

Kathy Buckley is a heartwarming and hilarious motivational speaker, author, and comedienne who shares inspiring and uplifting stories and teaches people how to love, honor, and respect themselves. Her messages of acceptance, forgiveness, and healing resonate around the world.

Kathy’s viral Goalcast video has been viewed and shared over 62 million times. She has appeared on The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, Extra, Inside Edition, CBS, CNN, and HBO. Kathy is also a five-time American Comedy Awards nominee for Best Stand-Up Female Comedienne, and E! Entertainment named her one of the “World’s Most Intriguing Women.”

Kathy is the official spokesperson for No Limits For Deaf Children, a nonprofit organization that delivers afterschool programs and programs for children with hearing loss. She has also been recognized by the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army for outstanding efforts toward disability employment awareness and is a key speaker for Anthony Robbins’ Life Mastery Classes.

Kathy is the author of a book titled If You Could Hear What I See and an original-award winning PBS special, No Labels, No Limits! Her highly acclaimed autobiographical theater play, Now Hear This! premiered off-Broadway and then opened in Los Angeles, with both Kathy and the show winning the distinguished Los Angeles Theater Ovation Award for best writing of a world-premiere play or musical and the Los Angeles entertainment industry’s coveted Media Access Award for best play of the year. She has also appeared in Touched by an Angel and in her critically acclaimed one-woman off-Broadway show, Don’t Buck with Me/Now Hear This!

Among her many honors, Kathy has received the Woman of the Year Award from the Oralingua School for the Hearing Impaired, the American Hero Award from the City of Hope as their role model of the year, the Toastmasters International Communication and Leadership Award, the Dole Foundation Media Awareness Award for her dedication to all people with disabilities, the National Council on Communicative Disorders Individual Achievement Award, and the Hear Now Help America Hear award for her commitment to children.
